Shell awards development contract to Oliasoft for its Oliasoft WellDesign software

A key milestone on this journey has now been achieved by awarding Oliasoft a development contract for the improvement and integration of its state-of-the-art well planning and design tool Oliasoft WellDesign. Shell and Oliasoft are collaborating closely to validate and develop required functionality in Oliasoft WellDesign. This newly awarded contract will build on this strong foundation by implementing next steps to ensure Oliasoft WellDesign capabilities are ready for piloting with targeted assets within Shell. This includes:

• Final validation of required Oliasoft WellDesign functionality
• Developing and integrating Oliasoft WellDesign into Shell’s digital environment
• Demonstrating value creation to end users and collecting their feedback in preparation for wider deployment of the software
